Catering provided by "De Bergenske" - menu will be made available no later than october 10th. We are discussing menu content and pictures etc.
Regarding food and drink - We are looking into sponsors to help subsidize food for participants. A large possible sponsors wants to see how the 2026 event goes before comitting, so we are looking for other opportunities.
NOTE:
If you drop from the 2026 event, you ticket will be moved to the 2027 event and you will have a free ticket there regardless of price. You will also be given free tickets to all our local events.
For 2027 we are hoping to have our budget sorted to such a degree that we can offer complete refunds for anyone, but for 2026 we are currently operating with a significant deficit.
We ask for understanding in this policy, as we try to make the event economically self-sufficient.
Schedule
For 2026 we have made a few minor changes to the schedule. Dinner on saturday is extended from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. This will allow people to more easily visit restaurants in the area and enjoy a proper break where they can see the city.
On sunday we start 15 minutes later and cut lunch by 15 minutes to keep the same timeframe. 45 minute lunch should be fine since we can have lunch served at the venue.

For Okeanos Rising 2026 we have switched some of the rooms and will now be using, among others, the much larger Per Gynt hall.
750sqm of space for tournament play.
Outside there is another 800 sqm over three floors to be used for mingling, social activity and exhibitions.

For Okeanos Rising 2026 we are printing brand new terrain.
The gallery below shows the primary tournament terrain. So far we are printing the Imperial version, but will be expanding the range with Ork, chaos, Necrons and maybe more.
Both terrain sets can be bought through our ticket system by attendees.

We will organize a "best painted army"- competition
For 2026 the execution will be slightly more elaborate.
To enter the "best painted" competition you take a "beauty shot" of your army and mail it to us at an -email that will be provided later.
You will be assigned a card with your name, that is to be kept visible at every table along with your army throughout the tournament. This is especially important for the breaks after the first, second and third games.
When setting up your army at the next table, before taking your break, remember to leave your card there. Throughout the two days of the tournament alle participants, guests and audience will be able to vote digitally on what armies they think are the best.
The "beauty shots" will be posted on our website.
This competition is unrelated to the painting exhibition occuring at the event and is limited to the 40K Competitive Tournament
Prizes
We have a number of prizes already, but will and will announce the various combination of prizes before the tickets go on sale. There may be a mix of physical and monetary prizes.
There will be an official trophy which is currently being designed.
There will also be diplomas as last year and some other prizes, including something for the unfortunate individual landing in the bottom slot.
The venue is situated at the very center of the city. Trains and buses from the airport or other cities all have their stop at "Bergen Storsenter" which is within 3 minute walking distance from the venue.
There are restaurants and supermarkets everywhere around the venue, but food and drink can also be pre-ordered at the venue.
For 2026 we have replaced one hotel so that both our hotels are within 5 minute walking distance of each other
Hotel Clarion Admiral is the one closer to the venue. Tickets for both hotels can be bought through our webstore while purchasing your tickets.
Additional room will be made available as needed.
Breakfast is included and you during breakfast you can request a lunchbox and for 168,- nok you can fill the box with food from the breakfast buffè and bring to the venue.
Or you can pre-order food through the webstore and have it served at the venue.
For Okeanos Rising 2026 we have continued our partnership with Strawberry Hotels.
We have reserved 55 rooms at the two hotels. Both run by Strawberry hotels. The rooms are available through the webstore while buying your tickets to the event.
They will remain available until mid-january. Any rooms not reserved at that time will be returned to the hotels.
The rooms are either "Single" or "Double". If you are coming with a group of friends and you wish to share a larger "suite", contact us at contact@okeanos-rising.com and we will attempt to get your group an offer on the requested accommodation.
