The union maintains the goal to:

develop the tournament based scene in the boardgaming scene in general and Vestlandet specific

The union of boardgamers will establish relations with playergroups in Vestlandet, Norway and Europe, and through these increase participation in events and tournaments across the board. Out main event will be the annual tournament "Okeanos-Rising" to be hosted in Bergen.

In pursuit of our goals, the union will be an inclusive arena that lowers the barriers for entry to the hobby and make it increasingly accessible to a greater number and variety of people. We wish to introduce youth that often don`t have the space nor economy to become a part of the community. We will do this by including Warhammer 40Ks smaller subsystems such as "Killteam", "Boarding actions", "Necromunda" etc. In addition the union will:

• Establish a permanent location to which all members will have access 24/7 (see details further down)

• Offer loan of equipment required to work with and paint miniatures- such as complete "air bursh"-sets

• Offer loans of models members can use in games or to try out games if they cannot afford their own models

• Offer tables, mats and terrain members need to play their games

• Offer a social arena that is available when they need it.

• Collaborate with and elevate the activities of other clubs, unions and gaming groups in Vestlandet

The union wishes to achieve with it`s efforts:

• to provide an offer for youth aged 16-19 that otherwise could not afford it

• to provide an offer for students aged 20-25

• to provide a robust and relevant offer to adults aged 25-100
